Hillcrest Hope Thrift Store
Hillcrest Ministries has been housing people in need since 1978. Hillcrest’s transitional housing program, Hope Essentials, has the capacity to serve 21 families at one time and average 54 families served annually between their two Clay County housing sites. Their website is www.HillcrestHope.org .
The Hillcrest Hope Thrift Store, at 7 W. Mill Street in Liberty, supports the transformation happening every day at the housing programs. All proceeds from the Thrift Store exclusively support Hillcrest Hope, raising funds for these families in Clay County. Store donations contribute to the practical needs of the families during their stay in the program, as well as aid the families as they seek their own housing upon graduation.
The thrift store accepts your donations of household goods, clothing and more. Their website contains a list of items they cannot accept HERE. It’s a great place to volunteer your time to make a difference to lots of people.
Please consider donating to Hillcrest Hope. Or at the very least, stop by the Thrift Store and find some special bargains for your home. The Store is open Monday through Saturday from 9am to 5pm and donation hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 4pm. For in-home pickups, call (816) 781-8988 or visit the site for online scheduling.
